These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Story Mimic. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility
Story Mimic is intended for users 13 and older. By using the service, you confirm you meet that requirement.
Your content
You keep full ownership of your manuscripts and audio. We only use your content to generate the audiobook plan and the audio you request.
License to process
You grant Story Mimic a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the service.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to record and distribute any content you upload, including third-party material.
Accounts and access
Keep your login secure and review any changes you make before publishing. We may suspend access for misuse or violations.
Payments
Character counts, previews, and renders draw down your plan allowance. Deleting audio does not refund usage.
Subscriptions and trial
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. The Hobbyist plan includes a 7-day free trial with limited credits and restricted features. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for forgetting to cancel. Refunds are discretionary and may be offered for major service issues.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or platform acceptance.
Limits and third-party services
Distributor acceptance is not guaranteed. We rely on third-party services (ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Clerk, AWS) that may change or be unavailable. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the service in the prior 30 days.
Service changes
We update features over time to improve quality. If something changes, we aim to communicate clearly before it affects you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Arizona law, with venue in Arizona state courts.
