What we collect
We store account information, manuscripts, section metadata, voice selections, usage and billing events, settings, logs, and audio renders so you can edit and export your audiobook.
How we use it
We use your data to build the audiobook plan, run AI Assistance on request, and generate audio. We do not sell your data.
Sharing and processing
We use Clerk for authentication, AWS for storage, ElevenLabs for audio generation, and OpenAI only when AI Assistance is enabled. When processing is requested, we share only the minimum text and settings required.
Retention and deletion
Audio previews are typically retained for about 7 days, exports for about 30 days, and final audio longer. Retention timelines are approximate and may change. You can delete audio files at any time, or use “delete everything” to delete your account and content from our active systems. Some records may be retained for legal, tax, fraud prevention, and backup recovery windows. Manuscript text remains intact to preserve traceability of edits unless you delete the project.
